Other Links
I have taken a look at each of the sites below and believe, to the extent I am familiar with them, that they are OK. The fact that these links are on the church web page does not constitute their endorsement either in full or part by myself or the Clintondale Friends Church. Please give me feedback at dpwhitley@alumni.guilford.edu on what you find, suggested additions, etc. I want this to be a helpful page for all who visit here. Pastor Dan Whitley

Bible Study Sites:
Lectionary Readings
I have tried over the past few years to pay attention to the lectionary readings for the church year. It is a good discipline to use these readings because it keeps me from using only my pet texts. Using the lectionary readings forces me to pay attention to the whole message of the Bible and to think along with the rest of the church in an orderly fashion. Even if I end up not using the lectionary readings for a particular Sunday, I have had the joy of reading them all week and reflecting on them myself. I suggest that you, the visitor to this site, make a habit of reading the lectionary for youself as a spiritual discipline. -DPW
To find the lectionary readings go to Vanderbilt's The Revised Common Lectionary.
