Directions to Clintondale Friends Christian Church

Clintondale, New York is equidistant between New York City and Albany, New York, a few miles west of the Hudson River. It is right in the center of the Mid-Hudson Valley. Clintondale is located on Route 44-55 about eight miles west of Poughkeepsie, New York. The meetinghouse is at 302 Crescent Avenue, which is a long block north of 44-55.

To reach the meetinghouse from Poughkeepsie, come west on 44-55 across the Mid-Hudson (FDR Memorial) Bridge. Go south on 9W. Bear right at the Sunoco gas station, and turn right onto Chapel Hill Road. Go to the "T" intersection and turn left back onto Route 44-55. Go a few miles and after the "Clintondale" sign go to the bottom of the hill in the hamlet, turn right on Maple Avenue. There is a dentist's office and an abandoned church building on the corner of 44-55 and Maple. Go past George's Deli to Crescent Avenue, and turn right. The meetinghouse is on the corner.

From the west on 44-55, Clintondale is about four miles from the intersection of Rte. 32 in Modena. After the Clintondale sign, go a short way and turn left on Maple Avenue. There is a dentist's office and abandoned church on that corner. Go to Crescent Avenue and the church is on that corner.

From the New York State Thruway, take the New Paltz Exit #18. Once through the toll plaza, turn right at the light. Go to the next light and turn right at the College Diner. This will be South Ohioville Road. Go about two miles and turn left at Hurds Road (a 4-way stop.) Follow Hurds Road past apple orchards and a couple of apple packing houses. At the stop sign go straight and the meetinghouse will be at the top of the hill.
